The four major senior concerts in the city of Salzgitter are organized by the Cultural Services Department. Traditionally, these take place in the auditoriums of the SZ-Bad High School and the Fredenberg High School.

A special service is the use of shuttle buses in cooperation with KVG Braunschweig. When purchasing a ticket at least 15 days before the event begins, you can book a ride on the shuttle bus from a specific stop. There are a total of 73 stops throughout Salzgitter to choose from. Depending on the location of the KVG stop, you’ll be picked up almost right at your doorstep and brought back home after the concert.

The following rules apply to ticket prices for the senior events organized by the Cultural Services Department:

Senior tickets are available for those aged 60 and older at an advance sale price of €7.50, including use of the special bus. However, these tickets can only be purchased at senior centers within the city, the Senior Citizens’ Office in Salzgitter City Hall, and at the Seniorenbeirat.

Additional tickets (plus a service fee and excluding use of the special bus service) are available online at www.salzgitter.de/kulturvomamt (opens in a new tab) as well as at the box office at regular prices.
