The Henry Girls are visiting Salzgitter.

In addition to performing concerts around the world and appearing on countless TV and radio shows, they teach, have collaborated with stars such as Donal Lunny, Mary Black, and Moya Brennan, and compose complete soundtracks for films and theater.

In their stage show, The Henry Girls travel back and forth across the sea and explore wild musical territories: New Folk, bluegrass, pop, Irish tradition, ballads—but you can also hear influences from the swinging Andrew Sisters of the 1930s, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and the Dixie Chicks.

A hallmark of their sound—and one that’s rather un-Irish—is their complex and intense three-part vocal style, featuring not only skillfully coordinated vocal harmonies but also an extra “goosebump-inducing” intensity that only three siblings, bound by their shared life stories, can create. For their current tour in Germany, they are preparing a musical journey that will take listeners from the stormy, rugged northernmost cliffs of Ireland, through the glittering nightlife of New York, to blues-soaked Memphis, and on to the Celtic immigrants and their wistful melodies in the mountainous southeastern United States.
