On the exhibition theme "Confusion"
Confusion is more than just bewilderment—it is an artistic principle. The artists featured in this year’s Salon Salder challenge certainties, shift perspectives, and assemble fragments of reality into new visual worlds. An exhibition that brings to light the contradictions of our time and opens up new perspectives.
Also on display are works by Gerd Winner, who sadly passed away this past April.

Workshop for Adults
November 14, 2026 | 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
From Confusion to Order
Lena Hammer – Art Educator
How can confusion be captured in words and images?
Through brief creative writing prompts, participants will first approach the topic individually and then explore the exhibition through group discussion.
Afterward, they create collages as a visual search for clues, before exploring the opposite concept—order—through creative writing. A workshop that blends expression, reflection, and creativity.
Closing Reception
On Sunday, November 22, the salon will close its doors.
Stephanie Borrmann, director of the Municipal Art Collections, will lead a tour of the exhibition for interested visitors at 11:15 a.m.
The participating artists will be on site.
