Children, parents and educators spend time together outdoors, with lots of exercise and mindfulness towards plants and animals. Experiential educational games promote team development and the personal growth of older children and young people. Reaching their own limits and overcoming some of them helps young people to cope better with other challenges in their everyday lives.

School knowledge can also be deepened with the criteria of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development).

Edible and medicinal herbs are collected and processed. We listen to what the birds have to say and pay attention to the tracks and signs of shy forest dwellers. We get our bearings in the unfamiliar surroundings, cover distances on foot or sometimes by bike and find new places. During forest bathing for children, we experience oneness, smell, feel, hear and hug the tree. Children learn how to make a fire or build a shelter.

We experience our limits together, walk together and learn to trust - nature and others. Forest knowledge on topics such as climate, animals and ecology is addressed, as is the creative use of natural materials.

The activities are supervised by a full-time social pedagogue with a forest pedagogy certificate. A team of trained youth leaders is also available.
