On Saturday, April 24, 2027, “Ride & Respect” will take place for the first time on the western shore of Salzgittersee.
The Motorradgedenkfahrt—which has traditionally included a road safety day and a biker party—will continue under a new name and at a new venue. The motorcycle convoy, a communal memorial, road safety, live music, and socializing will remain the central elements of the event.

What can visitors expect?
“Ride & Respect” combines a passion for motorcycling with a conscious awareness of the dangers of road traffic and the responsibility of all road users.
After the motorcycle convoy arrives, visitors to Salzgittersee can look forward to a varied day featuring informational and hands-on activities, social gatherings, family programming, and live music.
A central part of the event remains the collective remembrance of motorcyclists who have lost their lives in traffic accidents.
