The professional fire department is seeking new recruits for training as a senior fire inspector trainee (m/f/d) starting April 1, 2027, paramedics (m/f/d) starting September 1, 2027, and fire captain candidates (m/f/d) starting November 1, 2027.
The application deadline is July 26, 2026.
Next year, the City of Salzgitter will once again offer entry-level positions in traditional administrative professions, starting August 1, 2027. Interested candidates can apply for an apprenticeship as an administrative assistant (m/f/d) or for a dual degree program in Administrative Sciences (B.A., m/f/d) as a civil servant on a probationary basis. Places are also available for a dual degree program in Social Work (B.A., m/f/d).
The application deadline for these positions is September 15, 2026.
The skilled trades apprenticeships for road maintenance worker (m/f/d) and building cleaner (m/f/d), as well as the IT specialist (m/f/d) apprenticeship for 2027, are expected to be advertised in mid-September 2026.
