The Helmstedt Waterways Construction Office invites all interested citizens to attend.

During the event, information will be provided about the overall project and the current status of the planning. The public participation process is taking place in conjunction with the planning approval procedure. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and receive answers.

The road bridge structure carries State Road L 615 over the Salzgitter branch canal and connects the districts of Üfingen and Thiede, located east and west of the canal, respectively.

The “Brücken Mitte” department at the Helmstedt Waterways Construction Office is planning the replacement bridge on behalf of the Mittelland Canal / Elbe Side Canal Waterways and Shipping Office (WSA), which is responsible for bridge maintenance.

The planned construction measures include the demolition and subsequent reconstruction of the bridge at the same location.
