On Saturday, September 5, the Salzgitter Library Association and the Salzgitter City Library invite you to a literary journey of discovery to Duderstadt and Heiligenstadt.

In the “Pearl of the Eichfeld” in Duderstadt, participants can look forward to a “sharp-tongued” guided tour led by a city guide, offering exciting and exclusive insights into the social customs of the 19th century. After lunch together, the group will visit the “Theodor Storm” Literary Museum in Heiligenstadt. The permanent exhibition offers a vivid glimpse into Theodor Storm’s life and artistic work during his years in Heiligenstadt (1856 to 1864).

Departure from Lebenstedt (bus stop in front of City Hall) is at 7:30 a.m.; departure from Salzgitter-Bad (bus station/train station square) is at 8:00 a.m. The return trip is scheduled to depart after we enjoy coffee together in Limlingerode.

The cost (including bus fare, a guided tour of Duderstadt, and admission to the Literature Museum) is 45 euros for members; non-members pay 50 euros.

Those interested can get more information and be added to a waiting list: bibges-salzgittergmxde or karin.verstegengmxde
