On Tuesday, July 21, a public memorial service will be held to honor those who were buried by the city of Salzgitter between April 1 and June 30, 2026.
The city of Salzgitter is responsible for the burial of the deceased if there are no next of kin or if they could not be located in time.
The memorial service will take place that day at 2:00 p.m. at the cemetery in Lebenstedt. The service will be organized and conducted by the two Christian churches and the Salzgitter Hospice Initiative.
Anyone who would like to remember the deceased is cordially invited.
