The rainbow stands as a covenant between God and humankind, serving as a symbol of hope, faithfulness, God’s mercy, and peace. After the Flood, God gave the rainbow as a promise never again to bring the earth to ruin.

During this choir and organ vespers service on the last weekend of the church year, the participants will seek out this promise in music and literature and reaffirm it to one another.

Following the vespers, guests are invited to stay for conversation and light refreshments.
