Health counseling according to § 10 ProstSchG

Health advice in accordance with § 10 of the Prostitutes Protection Act

Health advice in accordance with the Prostitute Protection Act

Anyone who offers sex for money

is a prostitute.

Prostitutes must register with the public order office.

To do this, they need to have a consultation with the health department beforehand.

This is stated in paragraph 10 of the Prostitute Protection Act.

A paragraph is a chapter in the law.

Prostitutes receive health advice at the health office.

The health consultation is an interview.

The consultation is free of charge and confidential.

That's what the conversation is about:

  • Questions about sexual health.
  • How can I prevent diseases?
  • Pregnancy and contraception.
  • The dangers of alcohol and drugs.
  • What can you do if you are in a difficult situation?
  • What can you do if you are in need?

After the interview, the prostitutes receive a certificate.

The certificate states:

You have received health advice.

You can use the certificate to report to the public order office.

We do not examine your body.

You can make appointments for health advice by telephone.

The telephone number: 05341/839-2031
