14 artists have explored this year's theme of "Storytelling" in their own individual ways: Paintings, installations, graphics, performances and much more have invited visitors to tell special (artistic) stories over the past two months. Many guests from the region visited the Municipal Art Collections and took part in the accompanying program.
There is also a special program for the finissage on Sunday, 2 November: a lecture (11.15 am) by Dr. Stefan Linke (Head of Exploration and Propulsion, Department of Space Technology, TU Berlin) on "The Empty Universe": Space is not only infinitely vast: the infinite expanse also reveals a yawning emptiness. The speaker will deal with this emptiness in and around us.
At 1 pm there will be a live performance: a choreographic production by and with Antonia Latz (artist), which moves in the field of tension between contemporary dance technique and everyday gesture. Guests can experience the narrative performance live.
The guided tour (3 p.m.) with Stephanie Borrmann, Head of the Municipal Art Collections, presents the diversity of this year's artists before the exhibition doors close at 5 p.m. for this year's Salon Salder
Admission and participation are free of charge. Please register for the respective events on November 2 (Städtische Kunstsammlungen, Museum Schloss Salder, Museumstraße 34): By telephone on: 0 53 41/839 46 16 or by e-mail: astrid.pastuschekstadt.salzgitterde
