Salzgitter

Quiet hour at the "Seesause"

There will also be a "Silent Hour" at the "Seesause" on Salzgittersee, which takes place from 22 to 24 August and is organized by the City of Salzgitter's Department of Culture.

This will take place on August 22 and 23 from 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. at all "Seesause" venues. On August 24, it will take place from 10 am to 11 am.

This is a nationwide concept that aims to make everyday life and participation in public life easier for people who are sensitive to stimuli and people with autism. For this hour, the lights are dimmed at the event, music and other sources of noise are turned down or even switched off completely. The aim is to make it possible for people who are sensitive to stimuli to attend events.

The city of Salzgitter is promoting the introduction of a "quiet hour" at events.
