Even in times of digitalization, a confident appearance is a must in many areas of work. Communicating successfully with colleagues and superiors, but also in your private life, is important. And it can be learned. Whether presenting in front of a large group or in a conflict discussion: with professional techniques from communication theory, those involved can actively influence how they come across and are perceived in such situations.

Contents of the seminar include:

• Rhetoric, clarification of terms and methods of application
• The basics of presentation
• The signals for a confident appearance
• Training facial expressions, gestures and posture
• "Speech thinking" as a method
• Methods for overcoming speech anxiety
• Minimizing filler words

The seminar is structured interactively. The content taught is tested and implemented dynamically with the participants.

The "Rhetoric and Dialectics" course will take place on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Kniestedter Herrenhaus (Braunschweiger Straße 137a) and costs 93 euros.
