For certain reasons, you may need to reapply for your driving instructor’s license.

These include

• expiration,
• revocation,
• revocation, or
• voluntary surrender of the driving instructor license

You may be exempt from retaking the driving instructor exam if there are no facts indicating a lack of professional or pedagogical aptitude.

You must retake the exam if more than 2 years have passed since the expiration, revocation, or withdrawal of your driving instructor license, or since you waived your driving instructor license.
