Expressive, versatile, and deeply moving—Meena Cryle wins over more than just her audience. Legendary producer Jim Gaines (Van Morrison, Santana) makes no secret of his enthusiasm: “One of the best singers I’ve ever worked with.” Together with the gifted guitarist Chris Fillmore, she has forged an uncompromising path for her songwriting over the past 30 years. Southern soul, blues, roots, and gospel are woven into a live performance full of longing and devotion. A little over a year ago, Hamburg-based pianist Jan Fischer (Jessy Martens, Big Daddy Wilson) stepped in as keyboardist. The chemistry was instant! The idea for a trio was born.
And here it is—the premiere at the Kniestedter Church in Salzgitter!
