Novels
Novels are works of fiction. This means that they do not contain factual data and facts. They are usually written in narrative form and can be both realistic (such as biographies) and unrealistic (such as science fiction). As they are primarily intended to entertain the reader, novels are also referred to as "beautiful literature".
The loan period for our printed and electronic novels is 4 weeks. The electronic novels, so-called eBooks, can be found in our eLoan. The printed novels are available for you on the shelves. Our novels are arranged by group and within the groups by author abbreviation (e.g. Family ARC)
Audiobooks
Audiobooks
Novels are read to you on audiobooks. The audiobook texts are slightly shortened compared to the original. They are particularly interesting for those who do not like reading or have little time for it.
The loan period for our audiobooks (on CD as well as electronically) is 4 weeks. The electronic audio books, so-called eAudio, can be found in our eLoan.
The audio books on CD are available for you on the shelf. They are arranged alphabetically according to the authors' surnames, whereby only the first three letters of the surname are taken into account. Frequent surnames are also numbered consecutively, for example MEY 4.
