The nationwide reading aloud day is a joint initiative of DIE ZEIT, Stiftung Lesen and Deutsche Bahn AG.
Every year, we take part in the nationwide Read Aloud Day. Together with our reading mentors, many volunteers and our employees, we read to children aged 3 to 6 on this day.
Of course, reading aloud is not just for kindergarten children! The secondary school in Salzgitter-Bad organizes its own annual reading day for the 5th to 7th grades. Two members of staff from the city library provide support.
