In addition to attending a first aid course, this training to become a youth leader is a prerequisite for applying for the youth leader card (JULEICA).
We are the right place for you if you are at least 15 years old, are interested in working with groups of children and young people and have the necessary reliability and sense of responsibility. In addition to a willingness to examine your own behavior, you should enjoy working with children and young people.
The City of Salzgitter's youth development department is offering two training courses for youth leaders in 2026:

Individual subject areas from the basic training courses are offered as advanced training courses:
- For all already trained youth leaders who wish to continue their training.
- For all already trained youth leaders who need to take part in further training seminars in order to renew their expiring Juleica.
All participants can refresh and deepen their knowledge in the areas of law, communication and dealing with conflicts.
In addition, the trained youth leaders can contribute their experience from their practical work and thus enrich the basic courses.
