Many activities are possible on the island, but peace and relaxation can also be found there. Neuwerk offers a unique opportunity to get to know the complex and vulnerable habitat of the Wadden Sea. Many endangered plant and animal species find their natural habitat here. Tidal creeks and shallow water zones are the nursery of many fish species. Salt marshes are among the most sensitive and endangered communities in the Wadden Sea region. Around 2000 animal species live there.
