Taking medication with you when traveling abroad

In principle, patients may carry narcotics that have been prescribed by a doctor in accordance with the provisions of the current Narcotics Prescription Ordinance (BtMVV) in a quantity appropriate to the duration of the trip as (personal) travel supplies in cross-border traffic.
