Announcement: Entering properties - for the sake of nature conservation!
Over the course of the year, employees of the Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation Agency (NLWKN) will be recording certain species and biotopes throughout the state. They will therefore have to enter land on which these species and biotopes occur. The NLWKN is legally obliged to carry out these surveys.
In order to update the state-wide biotope mapping, the following are carried out in particular in the
-
Salzgitterscher Höhenzug landscape conservation area,
-
Haverlahwiese open-cast mine nature reserve,
-
Sukopsmühle landscape conservation area
Site inspections take place.
Field hamster surveys are carried out as part of the joint project "Feldhamsterland" and other mapping projects.
We ask for your understanding!
A tabular overview of the planned survey work, sorted by district and species groups/biotopes, can be found on the NLWKN website.
There is also an e-mail function at the bottom of the page.
