Waste that cannot be assigned to the other collection systems for used glass, used paper, used clothing, organic waste, lightweight packaging with the Green Dot, electrical appliances, construction waste and hazardous waste must be disposed of as residual waste.
This includes from the household:
Ashes; light bulbs (no energy-saving bulbs or LED lamps); rubber; plastic objects that are not packaging; cat and small animal litter, vacuum cleaner bags; sweepings; candle residue; soiled paper; paper handkerchiefs; tampons; sanitary towels; diapers; condoms; unusable textiles; cigarette butts; broken dishes, etc.

Property owners must apply in writing to the SRB for the installation of a residual waste garbage can corresponding to the amount of waste produced. Applications for residual waste garbage cans are made in writing using the registration form (see below for registration form).
The SRB provides the following bin sizes: 20 l, 40 l, 80 l, 120 l, 240 l, 660 l, 770 l, 1,100 l.

Emptying fees for waste containers:

The fee for residual waste disposal for container sizes 20, 40, 80, 120 and 240 liters is calculated based on the number of annual empties in relation to the volume-dependent emptying fee, whereby a minimum fee of 12 empties per calendar year is charged per residual waste container. If the use of a container ends before the end of the calendar year or only begins in the course of the calendar year, the minimum charge is calculated pro rata.
The waste containers are emptied fortnightly, in the odd calendar week.
The bins must be placed at the roadside by 6.30 a.m. on the collection day for emptying by the property owner.

Disposal fees for large waste containers:

The fee for residual waste disposal for bin sizes 660, 770 and 1,100 liters is calculated from a monthly disposal fee based on the respective bin size and a service fee for collecting and returning the waste garbage cans.
The large waste containers are emptied weekly.

The SRB offers orange waste sacks for residual waste that accumulates at short notice and cannot be disposed of in the residual waste garbage can. The bags must be placed on the street on the corresponding collection day in the same way as the residual waste garbage can.

Collection and disposal is paid for with the purchase of the orange waste bag. The waste bag contains 80 liters and costs 7.00 euros.
