What is an arbitrator?
In some cases, however, the arbitrator also acts as a mediator in public law matters. Under no circumstances, however, do they act as arbitrators. As the responsibilities of the arbitration office are very specifically regulated, please contact the arbitrator responsible for your district directly if you have any problems. The division of the districts and the respective arbitrators are listed below. The arbitrator of the district in which the defendant resides is always responsible.
The interactive map of the city of Salzgitter can be used to find the competent arbitrator (see link below). On the city map, the "Arbitrators" section can be selected via the menu under "Level". As soon as this section is clicked on, the districts are highlighted in green. The map must then be enlarged so that the street in which the defendant lives is visible. You can then click on the street and the name of the responsible arbitrator will appear.
