From Christmas Eve, December 24, to Wednesday, January 1, the Salzgitter city administration will be closed to the public. From Thursday, January 2, 2025, the city administration will be available again during the usual opening hours.

The next public meeting of the Salzgitter City Council will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 4 p.m., in the council chamber of the town hall in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt.
