The "Fredolino" daycare center is the first teaching kindergarten in Salzgitter. "Together with Johanniter, the city of Salzgitter is thus launching another important building block to ensure and further develop quality in daycare centers," says Christa Frenzel, First City Councillor of the city of Salzgitter and Head of Social Affairs and Education.
With the launch of the new "Fredolino" daycare center, Salzgitter now has 46 facilities with a wide range of care options where parents can rest assured that their children are in good hands. "The city of Salzgitter is thus further expanding its childcare offer. The teaching kindergarten complements the existing high-quality range of childcare options in Salzgitter," said the Head of Social Affairs and Education.
The unique day nursery in Fredenberg focuses on language education, multicultural awareness and Reggio pedagogy, which focuses on promoting the children's strengths. The latest findings are taught here in practice to the trainee educators at BBS Fredenberg.
As the organization responsible for the facility, Johanniter also pays special attention to the same-sex concept on behalf of the city. "We act in accordance with the current guidelines. That is why I am delighted that we have managed to recruit two men for the new daycare team," emphasized the First City Councillor.
During the event, parents learned about the planned daily routine and the new team, among other things. Samantha Brinkwirth, Head of Social Services at Johanniter, is satisfied with the parents' evening: "You could tell that everyone was looking forward to finally getting started and that any unanswered questions could be fully clarified."
