This brochure is primarily aimed at new immigrants. It provides numerous tips to make everyday life easier and contains initial information for all important areas of life such as housing, work and school. It also contains a large number of (Internet) addresses for advice services and further information.

An illustrated guide introduces the brochure and presents the key topics at a glance.

"Welcome to Germany" is free of charge and can be ordered in German, Arabic, English, French, Polish, Russian and Turkish via the respective shopping cart on the website of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (see link at the bottom of this page). The versions in Bulgarian, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish will initially only be available for download, but are also expected to be available to order in print from the Federal Office in February.
