Sileo has developed a market-ready electric bus with its own battery charging technology.

Lies, himself a qualified electrical engineer, was impressed by the company's philosophy and the innovative vehicle, whose guaranteed range of more than 230 kilometers is well above that of its European competitors.

This makes the Salzgitter-based company a pioneer in the field of electromobility in Germany, said the Minister.

"Sileo is focusing on the development and production of pioneering technologies at the Salzgitter site. The electric bus fits perfectly into the mobility region and impresses far beyond the region with its trend-setting environmental values and impressive ranges," said Frank Klingebiel, praising the innovative company.
