The largest sums will go to Motorflug-Club Salzgitter e.V., which will receive 65,000 euros for the purchase of a training aircraft, STV Ringelheim, whose paving of the path to the sports facilities will be subsidized with 50,000 euros, and the Vallstedt shooting club, which will receive 30,000 euros for roof renovation.

A total of 408,266.57 euros will be distributed following the Board of Trustees' decision on May 19. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel. Klingebiel emphasized that he was pleased that so many projects in the areas of sport, culture and the preservation of customs could be supported in 2016.
