In Salzgitter, there is still a high demand for building plots, particularly for family homes. For this reason, new building land is being secured and developed in the urban development plan.

The planned construction phases (2nd and 3rd) of the "Fredenberg-West" development area are located within the "Leb 174" development plan in the west of Salzgitter-Lebenstedt to the south of the existing residential area on Dürerring and the 1st construction phase.

Like the first construction phase, the development is based on the single-family house development in the area of Dürerring and Feuerbachstraße - single-storey single-family houses (detached, semi-detached and terraced houses). However, two-storey buildings (e.g. town villas) are also planned in this area in order to emphasize the main urban development.

The area is connected to the higher-level road network via the existing Dürerring road and a new junction with district road 6 (K 6). The inner development of the plan area is via the Elisabeth-Selbert-Ring as the main development and the residential roads connected to it.

When the roads are completed, a total of 87 street trees are to be planted: thornless gleditsia (Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline') in the main access roads and flowering ash (Fraxinus ornus 'Rotterdam') in the residential paths.

In the Fredenberg West area, Salzgitter offers living in the countryside. Due to high demand for building land in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt, the 2nd construction phase is being developed with vigor.

The advantages of the first construction phase, such as the view of the Salzgitter hill opposite, the availability of all health and social care facilities, daycare centers, schools, excellent shopping facilities and a wide range of leisure activities, apply equally to this second construction phase.
