In order to provide the population with an adequate supply of additional building land, it is necessary to draw up a development plan.

A corresponding draft "Westlich Stukenbergweg, 2nd construction phase" and a public display of the plan were therefore approved by the administrative committee of the city of Salzgitter on May 23.

The approx. 3.1 ha plan area borders directly to the south on the new development area west of Stukenbergweg. To date, the area has mainly been used as arable land and horse pasture.

The aim of the planning is to establish a general residential area to create building plots for approx. 35 single-storey homes and approx. 3 two-storey apartment buildings in order to meet the high demand for building plots.
