There is a high demand for building plots in Salzgitter, particularly for family homes. New residential building land is therefore being secured and developed. The planned "Nordholz" development area is located in the north of Salzgitter-Bad.
The "Bad 100" development plan currently being drawn up designates the area as building land for single-family homes. The development area is connected to the main road network via Engeroder Strasse and Burgstrasse. The inner development of the planning area is via 4 residential streets with a total width of 8.00 meters and a 5.50 meter wide residential path.
The residential streets will be paved at the same level with concrete block paving. A 1.50-metre-wide footpath is planned on one side, followed by a 2.00-metre-wide parking strip alternating with tree locations. The 22 tree locations will be edged with raised kerbs and each will be fitted with 2 tree guards to prevent vehicles from driving over them.
