The construction of the "salt crystal" art object decided by the local council and council has not yet been implemented, as it has not yet been possible to raise the full amount of donations.

The planting of a flower strip last year has not proved to be optimal. The administration will therefore remove approx. 30 square meters of the lawn in a trial and plant a carpet of perennials. This perennial planting will be laid out in such a way that there is room for both the Christmas tree and the planned salt crystals. Implementation will be carried out by the SRB at the end of July/beginning of August.

In the second half of 2017, the SRB will also present a concept to the political bodies for a decision on how entrances to the town and places of particular importance could be enhanced in the future and how high the necessary investment and ongoing maintenance costs would be.
