The redesign of the Danziger Straße playground is the first major public construction project within the "Soziale Stadt Steterburg" redevelopment area. The special feature: Children from Steterburg (elementary school and kindergartens) have contributed their ideas for the new playground in various participation campaigns.

The construction company will begin work on the site on November 12. The old playground equipment will be dismantled in advance for the redesign of the playground. The playground cannot be used during the construction phase. The redesign of the playground is being supported with urban development funds from the federal government and the state of Lower Saxony.
