Draft regulations are available

The "Osterholz, Südholz, Kassebusch" area is to be declared a landscape conservation area by order of the City of Salzgitter.

In addition, the "Köppelmannsberg" nature reserve is to be adapted to EU requirements through a new version of the protected area ordinance.

The drafts of the ordinances are on public display. The explanatory memoranda and the relevant maps showing the boundaries of the protected areas, as well as the associated Annexes A, are also available for inspection.

They will be on display from Thursday, March 29, up to and including Monday, April 30, at Salzgitter City Hall, Environment Department, Lower Nature Conservation Authority.

They can be viewed on the 10th floor of the town hall, Joachim-Campe-Straße 6-8, in Lebenstedt at the following times Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am to 3 pm, Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm and Friday from 8 am to 12 pm.

Concerns or suggestions regarding the draft ordinances, the explanatory memoranda and the area boundaries as well as the annexes can be submitted in writing or for the record to the City of Salzgitter, Lower Nature Conservation Authority, Postfach 10 06 80, 38206 Salzgitter during the inspection period.
