In Heerte and seven other districts, the expansion of broadband connections (fast Internet) by Telekom is currently underway. In recent weeks, there has been some anger in Heerte about the delay to this project.

Reason enough for Mayor Frank Klingebiel to initiate an information event on the current status of the broadband expansion in Heerte, at which Telekom will provide information on its own expansion in Heerte and the delays.

City councillor Jan Erik Bohling will be present on behalf of the city of Salzgitter.
