L 670 (Salzgitter): No access from Nord-Süd-Straße to Heerter See - roadworks from Monday, August 5

State road 670 between Nord-Süd-Straße and Salzgitter-Heerte will be fully closed for around two weeks from Monday, August 5. The reason for this is road renewal work. The state authority for road construction and traffic pointed this out on Friday in Wolfenbüttel. Due to the closure, access to Heerter See is no longer possible here.

The passage of the state road 670 in Heerte (Gießereistraße) has already been fully closed since April due to road and sewer work. The signposted detour will therefore remain in place for this new measure.

The costs of this new measure amount to around 220,000 euros and will be borne by the state of Lower Saxony.

Weather-related delays are generally possible. The state authority asks the affected road users for their understanding.
