The existing, outdated play equipment will be dismantled and replaced with new play equipment. The existing play hill will also be remodeled and new sand will be installed. The playground will be fully closed for the renovation work from today until June 28, 2019. The playground can then be reopened. However, the new playground is not expected to be playable until mid-July, after the foundations have hardened. Only a partial closure of the playground will be necessary until mid-July.
