The Advisory Board is the representative body for citizens with disabilities in Salzgitter appointed by the City Council. It is to be appointed for the 18th legislative period of the Salzgitter City Council until 31.10.2026.
Who is entitled to nominate/who can be nominated?
Any person with a disability in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG) or their legal representative is entitled to nominate and can be nominated. This person with a disability must be resident in Salzgitter. A disabled person's pass is not required.
The official nomination lists will be sent to the associations and organizations, self-help groups, trade unions and churches shortly. They will also be available at the town hall in Lebenstedt from the Social Affairs and Senior Citizens Department in the office of the municipal representative for the disabled.
