The Thermalsolbad opened in February 1972 and was one of the first indoor pools in Lower Saxony with a brine wave pool and a Finnish sauna with a brine immersion pool. The Kurmittelhaus, which specialized in spa therapies, was directly connected.

In 1989/1990, an outdoor and therapy pool was built and the medical department, sauna area and swimming pool were extended. The large glass surfaces on the south side gave the redesigned spa a completely new look. The Fitness-Treff opened in February 1997 and has now been offering another attractive health facility with equipment training and a wide range of fitness courses for 25 years.

To mark the double anniversary, special offers are available daily from Tuesday to Sunday. Visitors can look forward to special fitness and water aerobics offers.

Highlights of the anniversary week in the Solewellenbad are the family day with fun and games around the wet element on Saturday, September 17, and the evening hours on Friday, September 16. On this evening, the pool will be open until midnight. From 19:00, guests can look forward to illuminated wave bathing and live music with Geza Gal & Friends.

The whole program is available at reduced admission rates. Those born in 1972 and 1997 have free admission to the Solewellenbad during the anniversary week. Adults pay 5 euros and children 2.50 euros for a day ticket. The offers are valid from September 13 to 18.
