The planning area comprises an area of approx. 5.5 hectares in the north-east of Salzgitter-Ringelheim, east of Haverlahstraße, between the farm track of the Feldinteressentenschaft to the north and Alte Heerstraße to the south. The spatial scope of the planning measure can be seen in the plan section published at the same time.
The aim of the development plan is to establish a general residential area (WA) in order to meet the demand for single-family house plots in Salzgitter-Ringelheim.
In order to be able to develop the development plan from the land use plan, the 99th amendment to the land use plan is required. The aim of the amendment to the land use plan for this area is to change the zoning from "predominantly agricultural" to residential land (W). In order to secure the development of residential land for Salzgitter-Ringelheim in the long term in terms of land-use planning, the scope of the land-use plan amendment was extended northwards to Haverlahstraße for a possible second construction phase.
