Matthias Wegner's presentation provides an overview of the legal aspects to be considered when purchasing a photovoltaic system. Among other things, the following will be discussed:
Obligation to carry on a trade, turnover and trade tax issues, tax implications for income tax, the need for bookkeeping, an example of an annual statement of the PV system for the tax office, special individual issues, for example special depreciation.
Many people already use solar energy to produce their own clean electricity. Some would like to use electricity from the roof, but are concerned about the formalities and the requirements of the tax office. In order to be able to use this climate-friendly energy generation in such a way that there are no nasty legal surprises, there are some specific aspects to consider. Wegner points out: "Due to the legislation, some formalities must be fulfilled so that electricity generation does not become an adventure in the jungle of formalism."
