Exhibition at Salder Castle: Photographs by Uwe Brodmann

From Sunday, February 25 to Sunday, April 7, photographer Uwe Brodmann will be showing his works at the Salder Castle Municipal Museum in an exhibition entitled "Cultural Landscapes".

The preferred format of photographer Uwe Brodmann has always been the panorama. He has applied the "widened" view along the horizon not only to landscape images, but also to the most diverse genres of photography. He has created cultural and urban landscapes as well as architectural photographs.

Brodmann even used the panoramic camera for portraits. These are also based on a very clear concept.

Nothing in his pictures is arbitrary. He breaks with visual habits by opting for the extreme landscape format. In his pictures, the person being portrayed or the motif that is important to him is placed in the middle or next to the center, he expands the space to the right and left in the true sense of the word, grants wide views and deep insights, tells a story. He stages as if on a theater stage.

After sharpening their senses, they will paint outdoors and capture the landscape around them, just like other great artists have done. The children will use whatever they find in nature. This creates natural structures on paper.
