This takes place every Monday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Forellenhof, Forellenweg 10, 38226 Salzgitter. During this time, girls from the age of eleven and young women can take part in a variety of programs such as music, art, games and fun. In addition, various excursions and a summer vacation camp are planned on a regular basis.

During the Girls' Day, the girls and young women have the opportunity to develop and realize their interests, skills and potential.

With the support of the full-time social education workers, the day also serves as a platform to draw attention to and discuss topics such as violence against girls and women, girls' rights, equality and discrimination.
