Salzgitter

Premiere for new cooperation

A premiere for educational professionals from daycare centers and after-school care centers as well as teachers from elementary school: On Thursday, March 21, the first workshop of the new cooperation between the Volkshochschule and the "Stiftung Kinder forschen" will begin.

Exciting for young and old: how do magnets work? The answers can be found at the Volkshochschule.

Under the title "Magnetism - discovering invisible forces", professionals can take away many suggestions for their everyday life with the children.

About the content: The lecturer gives the teachers suggestions for gaining their first basic experiences with magnets together with the children in their institution. They discover and explore the effects and properties of magnets and deepen their knowledge of magnetic applications and design possibilities. Together with the other participants, ideas are developed on how the children can be well supported and accompanied in their learning. In addition, the participants discuss sustainable aspects of magnets.

Information: The first workshop will take place on Thursday, March 21, from 9 am to 3.30 pm at the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a). The course costs 50 euros.
