The events, led by Marcel Senkel and Sarah Wrazidlo, will give young participants an exciting opportunity to discover their creative skills in film production.
They will work with simple tools such as play figures and dioramas to film fascinating stories about the past and present of Salzgitter. The topics range from reindeer hunting in the Ice Age to everyday life in the Middle Ages and visionary glimpses into the distant future of our beautiful city.
Marcel Senkel and Sarah Wrazidlo, the experienced media designers from the Medienzentrum, will enthusiastically introduce the children to the world of animated film production. The focus is not only on media education aspects, but also on the sensitive depiction of significant historical events in Salzgitter. Both the discovery of the salt springs and the siege of Lichtenberg Castle by Emperor Barbarossa are staged in a creative way.
Another highlight is the introduction to the so-called "stop-motion technique". The knowledge and tricks acquired can be used by the children at home to create their own films with smartphones or tablets. No previous knowledge is required - the focus is on the joy of creative work and enthusiasm for film production.
The creative courses take place during the Easter vacations and are open to all interested children free of charge. An ideal opportunity to enrich the vacation season with fun, learning and creativity.
