This basic course explores the potential of the smartphone camera. The course covers everything from the technical basics to creative image design.

Contents: Camera basics: understanding the smartphone camera; control: exposure, focus and white balance; composition: discovering the rules of image composition; image editing: introduction to editing on the smartphone and practical exercises.

What to bring: Smartphone (charged and with memory); charging equipment for continuous readiness and a willingness to discover new things.

No previous knowledge is necessary, the course is suitable for beginners.

Information: The course takes place at the Kniestedter Herrenhaus in Salzgitter-Bad (Braunschweiger Straße 137a), starts on Tuesday, September 24, and continues on the following Tuesdays (October 1 and 8) (from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each day). The course costs 45 euros.
