Survival training - self-awareness in nature for adults": At the versatile NABU station and in its surroundings, participants learn about the most important survival techniques and their own selves. On the foray, the participants immerse themselves in various orientation methods, consider how they can get clean drinking water, set up a safe camp made of leaf huts for the lunch break, read and follow animal tracks and try out sneaking and camouflage techniques.

The training ends with the art of making a fire, a cozy round around the campfire and a reflection on the day's experiences.

Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes and bring their own food.

The survival training will take place on Sunday, April 21, from 10 am to 6 pm at the NABU Salzgitter Biological Station, Siebenbürgener Straße, and costs 42 euros.

Survival training - self-awareness in nature for tough parents and brave kids":

This special adventure day is designed for tough parents who want to discover nature together with their child/children in an exciting way and face new challenges. Building a camp together, building your own fire, solving orienteering tasks or reading tracks will strengthen mutual trust. A day that will always be remembered as a shared highlight!

Participants should make sure they wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and bring their own food and drink.

The course takes place on Sunday, April 7, from 10 am to 4 pm at the NABU Salzgitter Biological Station, Siebenbürgener Straße, and costs 65 euros. The fee is charged for one parent plus one child. Each additional child will be charged 32 euros.
