Revolution and socialism have shaped Cuba in a unique way. During the tour, experts and compatriots provide exclusive insights into politics, business and culture. The tour leads from Havana across the Caribbean island from Vinales in the north through the mountains to Santa Clara, Trinidad, Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa to Holguin.
The program includes the Humboldt National Park, a cocoa plantation, the former Bacardi distillery, political talks with the Revolutionary Committee, Che Guevara's place of work, a guided tour of a tobacco factory, the cave system near Vinales and, of course, a tour of Old Havana. Last but not least, there are insights into the music scene and the visual and performing arts in the capital.
The price of the study trip is 2799 euros (single room supplement 295 euros) with a direct flight from Frankfurt and includes half board and travel in a modern coach.
