Salzgitter

Overnight stay in the forest

The Volkshochschule (VHS) of the city of Salzgitter has free places in the weekend seminar "Wildnis-Overnight - Übernachtung im Wald".

The participants prepare their own food around the campfire.

The participants meet in the afternoon and set up camp together in the protected wilderness of the NABU grounds in Lebenstedt. It is up to each participant whether they want to spend the night in the forest in a self-built hut, in a tent, under a tarpaulin or in a hammock.

Together, the participants learn the art of making a fire and cook a delicious meal over the campfire. As soon as it is dark, the participants sharpen their senses and experience themselves with the help of exciting and entertaining exercises in the forest at night.

The morning starts with a fortifying breakfast and any unanswered questions about life with and in nature. On request, the two experienced bushcrafter course leaders will be happy to provide materials for the overnight stay.
